About Us

Camp Good News® is a 15-acre non-denominational Christian Camp nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains near Asheville, NC, with many mountain attractions like the Blue Ridge Parkway, Chimney Rock, and the Biltmore Estate are just minutes away.

Camp Good News does not charge tuition for campers to come to summer camp. We are a faith based ministry funded by God's people. Donations are accepted; $160 will cover the expenses for one camper. To read how God brought us to this decision, please click here.

Each year includes Children's Summer Camp for ages 7-16 for 6 weeks. Starting in June, going through July and into August, they hear the Good News of Jesus Christ every day and have hours of fun and learning. Throughout the rest of the year, the camp hosts a variety of ministries for children, teenagers, and churches.

The camp can accommodate 60 occupants. Our facilities include 4 heated cabins with indoor plumbing, a commercial quality kitchen and dining area, mountain hiking trail, playground, indoor game-room, and Chapel.
